About:Nanjing Travel

Tickets of Huning High Speed Rail, which is to have its first run on July 1, 2010, have been issued to passengers since the morning of June 25, 2010. It is learned that the High Speed Rail runs a distance 301km at a speed up to 300km per hour, passing 21 stations, including Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou, Zhenjiang as well as Nanjing. Seventy couples of High-Speed Electric Multiple Units (EMU) Trains are planned to depart from Nanjing to Shanghai, 22 of which to Shanghai, and 48 to Hongqiao of Shanghai. It will take only 73mins from Nanjing to Shanghai in the fastest train. The ticket price would be CNY223 for the first-class seat and CNY146 for the second-class.
