About:China Tourist Visa

Hello, my wife and I are Malaysians who are presently resident in Qatar, and we'd like to visit China as tourists in August 2010. What do we need to furnish as part of the tourist visa application process, how much would it cost (per person), and how much time would it take for the visas to be issued? Many thanks ahead!

The required documents for tourist visa application are:
(i) Original passport remaining to be valid for at least six months from the date of application and with sufficient blank visa pages.

(ii) One completed Visa Application Form with a recently-taken passport photo stuck on it; all the items on the application form should be completed neatly with genuine information; if the applicant has a Chinese name, the Chinese name should be filled in. False or incomplete information and illegible characters may lead to refusal of a visa.

(iii)Qatar residence permit and its copy

(iiii)the round-trip flight ticket

it takes 4 working days for visa processing, the fee is 30 Ringgits for single-entry visa, I don't know the amount in Qatar currency.
