About:Visa Policy of China

hi there,

What is the new z working visa regulations for expats who wants to work in china? can expats still convert L tourist visa to a z working in china? or does he/she must get an invitation letter and foreign expert certificate from his/her employer and apply the z working from their country of origin?

he/she must get an invitation letter and foreign expert certificate from his/her employer and apply the Z visa from their home country. Although the regulations of public security bureau states that aliens can convert L visa to Z visa, however, in fact, only the institue which employs you, such as the public university, famous big company and other prestigious units can help the foreign employee to get the work visa within Mainland China.
