About:Chinese Embassy in Canada
I am visiting Canada as a seasonal resident under visa waiver (I hold US passport). I have obtained a China visa but will likely change citizenship before I depart from Canada to China. If I obtain St. Kitts citizenship and renounce US citizenship here in Vancouver, is my visa still valid? (I should have my canceled US passport with the visa). If not, how would I obtain a new visa on my St. Kitts passport while here in Vancouver. Will the Chinese consulate in Vancouver issue a visa to a St. Kitts citizen who is not a Canada permanent resident? Will other consulates in Canada issue a visa? Appreciate some guidance on this.
