About:Chinese Embassy in Canada

Sir or Madam,
I am in urgent need to visit China on business and have received the Letter of Invitation by email but do not have an original. Can I apply for a business visa at the consulate in Vancouver with a copy of the invitation rather than the original? I would greatly appreciate a response.
Regards

for business "F" visa(single or multiple): An official invitation from the competent Chinese government agencies or organizations, or companies that are authorized to request the Consulate-General to issue visa is required, so the copy of invitation letter is not accepted by the Chian consulate in Vancouver.
