About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

I am here in Shanghai as a management trainee and have been given an F type visa for 6months.I have now been offered a full time position however I need to either extend my F type visa until Feb 2011 from the end of August 2010. I know I am not able to get a work visa so how is it that I can get a new F type visa for this time.

You can first prepare all required documents for the F visa applcation as you apply for the F visa for the first time, then go to the Exit & Enter department under the Shanghai Public Security Bureau to apply for the extension of F visa permits you stay for 6 months.
