About:Chinese Embassy in India

Dear Sir,

I am an Indian passport holder (and a Permanent Resident of Singapore), currently writing from Singapore.
My parents are Indian passport holders and are currently in Singapore on a tourist visa.

We all have planned a tourist trip to China and the visa application office earlier said that my parents can also apply for a visa from Singapore. However they are now saying the parents will have to go back to India to apply. In the meantime, we have made all arrangements such as flights, accomodation etc. My parents are senior citizens and it is difficult for them to come back to India specifically for this.

I wanted to request you -- can my parents obtain a Chinese visa without having to travel back? As a special case, can i request that the embassy in Singapore issue a visa to them please. I presume this can only be possible if we plead to you and you in turn ask the embassy in Singapore to do so.

Thanks a lot for your time!

Regards,
Vipin

Mr.Vipin Kapoor, I understand your situation, however, this is not the official website, I'm not the visa officer in the embassy, Non-Singapore citizens shall provide documents that entitle them to reside for an extended period of time in the Singapore, such as a PR, WP, EP, STP, DP. Temporary visitors to Singapore should apply for a Chinese visa in their own country. For the special case, the visa officer has the rights to make the final decision on whether issuing a visa or not.

You can make online appointment with the China embassy in Singapore, and state your situation
