About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

I am not sure if I can go apply for the visa myself at the Chinese Embassy in Seoul in Jong-no. Do I need to go through a travel agency or can I still get the traveler's visa in person?

From September 1st, 2007, the Consular Section of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Korea (ROK) will no longer accept foreigners' individual applications for Chinese visas of travel, business, study, work, transit and so on.
You can apply a visa (visas to Hongkong are not included)through travel agencies designated by the consular Section of Chinese Embassy.
