About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

hi there, i'm hoping to travel around China in September of this year and i'm applying for my double entry L visa now as I'll be leaving to travel overland next Saturday all being well via Europe, Russia and Mongolia. it states on the website that for the L visa 'Necessary travel information, such as the two-way flight details and itinerary, is required'. i just wonder what is meant by this as of course i cant provide copies of train tickets, it being so far in advance. i plan to go as far as shanghai before hopping over to Japan for a stint before returning to China. Also, what is meant by name and address of inviter or contact? finally, is it possible for an Irish citizen to apply for a Chinese visa anywhere else in Europe? eg. Amsterdam, Brussels, Berlin. Any help to any or all of these queries is very much appreciated.

If you can't provide the round-trip flight tickets, just don't provide them, generally speaking, they are not required for Irish applicants, however, sometimes, they are required by the visa officer. If you don't have inviter in China, please write N/A for the items which are not suitable for you. It is not easy for you to apply for a China visa in a third country. As I know, chinese embassy/consulate ask the Foreigners other than the nationals of the country should have valid visas or valid Residence Permits of the country. It is advisable to apply for China visa in Ireland or Hong Kong.
