You can apply for Chinese visa in Cambodia if you hold work permit or residence permit or valid visa in Cambodia. Foreigners other than Cambodians should have valid cambodia visas or valid Residence Permits in Cambodia.

I guess that you can't get a China visa in Cambodia if you just hold a tourist visa of Cambodia, first, for Ghanaian applicants, the visa regulation is strict, maybe applicants of developed countries can get a China visa in Cambodia if hold the tourist visa of cambodia, second, the residence permit or work permit is required for applicants other than Cambodians.

Hi Mr Bruce, I read read what you said about might not being able to get a chinese tourist visa from phnom penh if you only hold a cambodian tourist visa. I am from the UK, do you still think this will apply to me? I am in Cambodia at the moment and hoping to apply for a tourist visa when I am in Phnom Penh next week. I have all my flights booked in and out of china already. Thanks
