My hubby and 2 colleagues and I proposed to visit Chengdu in eihter July or August 2010 for a maximum of 3 nights after which we will fly to Lijiang. We proposed to stay atHoliday Inn Crowne Plaza.Iwould like to obtain some recommendation on interesting places to visit within Chengdu city. Do not suggest Mt Emei, Lehasan, Panda Research station, Juzaighou, Songpan, Huanglong valley, Dazu and the Dujiangyuan Irragation Project because I have visited them all. I am interested in acquiring some worthy souveniors of Chengdu such as the Shu silk thread embroidery to add to my collection Su embroidery from Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. On my previous vist to Chengdu we all had dinner at acertain HERBAL Restaurant the name of which I had forgotten. We would like to once again go this type of retaurant- any recommendation?
