Question

I am married to a Chinese national for 5 years. I have L type visa good for 1 year, Multiply entry for 30 days stay each entry.I work in many countries and have to come and go to China, but sometimes I need to stay longer than 30 days each entry.Can I just go to Hongkong even for a few hours and come back and get renewed?How do I get a longer stay L type visa, for example 1 year multiple entry but 90 days each entry.What about permanent residence visa - is it possible for me.
