I would like to find out if there is a 1 day cruise on the Yangtze River in either Beijing, Xian or Shanghai? As we've had our trip planned (time is limited), hopefully we could see and experience a small part of the Yangtze River.

Hi Cheng, it's not possible. There is no one day cruise tour of Yangtze River. The shortest Yangtze cruise needs 4 days. Can you let me know your whole trip itineraray? Perhaps I can spare some time for you to experience the Yangtze River.

Hi William. We only have 15days in china. Beginning in Beijing, Xian followed by Shanghai. If 4 days is required as the minimum for the Yangtze cruise then unfortunately we can't squeeze it in. As I prefer more days in the end for shopping in Shanghai.Thanks for your help.

If you are ending your trip in Shanghai you can take a short boat trip down the Huangpu River to the mouth of the Yangtze. It takes an hour or two, but it may not be the kind of Yangtze boat trip you have in mind if you are picturing beautiful gorges, etc.
