i planned to visit anshan, liaoning sometime in october, 2010.

Question

I planned to visit Anshan, Liaoning sometime in October, 2010.  Is it necessary for me to get to Hong Kong first then connect by another flight or train?  Any information will be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

It's sure there is no direct flight from America to Liaoning, but Hongkong is not a good choice for connection. You can fly to Beijing first, then connect a train to Anshan directly.

Fly to Beijing first and take the train to Shenyang. From Beijing to Shenyang it is only 4 hours by train. I can show you the way if you will go in October from 1st to 10th. My hometown is Liaoning and I can guide you there that time.
