Hello, On Friday evening next week, I will fly from Nanjing to Wuhan. My destination is Shennongjia, Muyu Town specifically (being a foreigner, I read that only Muyu on its surroundings are open for me). I am trying to find information regarding a daily bus from Wuhan to Xingshan County, or Shennongjia directly. One of my Chinese colleagues found that the direct bus to Shennongjia has been cancelled, and that the daily bus to Xingshan County leaves at 15:10 every day, arriving at 22:00. Is this correct? From Xingshan, I plan on taking an early bus on Sunday to go to Muyu, there are regular buses apparently.Could you please confirm if the 15:10 bus is still running, and from where to catch it?And is there any other way to go (directly, or almost directly) from Wuhan to Shennongjia? I read that going via Yichang, Xiangfan or Shiyan is possible, but this would take too much of my little time during the Dragon Boat Holiday, since it means going on Saturday and taking a bus to Xingshan and then Muyu on Sunday (spoiling the whole Sunday basically).Big thanks in advance for your answer!Best Regards

As I know the bus from Wuhan to Shennongjia is availavle at Shennongjia Forest Zone Wuhan Office in 武昌民主路鸿翔巷6号, not in bus station of Wuhan. I am not sure if this bus is cancelled or not. You can get to Xingshan first and then to Muyu. Xingshan has buses to Muyu every half a hour. So, do not worry about the bus if you have arrive in Xingshan. It is only one hour from Xingshan to Muyu. If there is not a bus, you can just rent a taxi or van. Well, I believe you can take the bus. Bus to Xingshan seems to leave at 8pm at Xinhua Road BUs Station of Wuhan and arrive in Xingshan at 6am next day. You can try this way: Wuhan to Yichang, 4.5 hours, Yichang to Muyu bus at 13:30.

Thank you for this answer! I will try to find that direct bus to Xingshan then, I have been told by a very friendy Wuhan guide I contacted that the time has been changed from 8 p.m to 3:10 p.m. I will go early in the morning just to check and make sure ;)
