About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

Good evening
My son (age 21) is an Australian citizen and is leaving on a world trip starting early July. He plans to visit China in late October. He cannot apply for his Visa in Australia before he travels as this will be greater than the 3 months allowed. He will be in London for 1 week then flying into Hong Kong where he will be for several days before he plans to travel as a tourist into China. Please advise should he try and get his China visa in London or in Hong Kong.
Many thanks

Mr.Henry, he can apply for China visa in London or in Hong Kong, however, if he applies for visa in London, he has to submit application to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in London and pay for its service besides the visa fee, China embassy in London doesn't accept China visa application from regular passport holders. The Dipolomatic/Service/Official passport can still go to the embassy to apply for China visa.

it is easy for him to apply for China visa in Hong Kong, he just need go to the Commissioner's Office of Foreign Affairs Ministry of PRC in Hong Kong SAR,
