About:China Tourist Visa

My son who is serving the Malaysian Government will be representing the Attorney General's Chamber in a one-week trade meeting with China in late Jun. With him in company, I want to make use of this opportunity to visit China for the first time. I am a retired 63 years old.
Before I make any mistake about securing a Chinese visa, kindly advise what type of L visa is best for me to apply now and for how long. What is the minimum fee involved and how long will it take to process?
Thank you in advance of your response.

you can apply for China Tourist Visa (L visa)at the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Kuala Lumpur or at the Consulate-General of China in Kuching. You can apply for a single-entry L visa valid for 3 months and permits 30 days stay in China, the requirements are:
(i) Original passport remaining to be valid for at least six months from the date of application and with sufficient blank visa pages.

(ii) One completed Visa Application Form with a recently-taken passport photo stuck on it; all the items on the application form should be completed neatly with genuine information;

(iii) round-trip flight tickets

it takes 4 working days, the minimum fee is 58 Ringgits, 30 Rimggit for single-entry visa, the Application Service Fee is 28 Ringgits. for more information, please refer to http://www.visaforchina.my/
