If I get married in China to Chinese woman, what kind of visa can I qualify to apply for

I am an American citizen. If I get married in China to Chinese woman, what kind of visa can I qualify to apply for, and how long can I stay in China before renewal of that visa?

You can apply for a Multiple Entry "L" Visa valid for 24 months if you get married to Chinese woman. You can ask for 180 days at most stay duration per entry on the visa application form. 180 days is the longest time for you to stay in China by holding L visa per entry.
