About:China Tourist Visa

i am married to chinese woman and currently get a z visa as i work here..when i retire i take it i should apply for tourist visa to stay here...and does that mean i can apply for this visa whilst living in china....and i take it i can apply for a 1 year tourist visa with multiple entry...

Yes, you can apply for tourist visa while in China, I'm not sure that you can get 1 year tourist visa with multiple entry, but you can have a try to get a single entry visa with a long stay duration. Although you get a multiple entry, you have to exit China each time to get another stay duration.
