Hello, I want to go to Anji to see the Bamboo Sea Forest. Is it easier to go from Shanghai or from Hangzhou? I want to learn more about visiting this place--I heard there may be a rollercoaster ride and a zipline ride and also a walk along a waterfall above the ground on a scaffold trail. Is this true? Also, I heard that people living at the forest may approach you and offer to let you stay in their homes for a cheap price. Is this true? Thank you!

It is easier to go from Hangzhou, for Hangzhou is much closer to the Bamboo Sea, 60km. Hangzhou North Bus Station has buses to Anji Bus Center. From Anji Bus Station take county bus 205 to the Bamboo Sea. The water fall should be Zanglong Waterfall?! It is a different place but quite near to the Bamboo sea. You can find a home stay there.
