About:Chinese Embassy in Russia

I am travelling as a tourist to China in mid-September, but will not have enough time to apply for a visa in Australia (tourist visa is only valid for 3 months, and I am leaving for Russia very soon). I would like to apply for a visa in Moscow, but I read on another website that the Moscow embassy no longer accepts visa applications from non-Russians. Is this true?

i haven't heard of that, you'd better enquire the China Embassy in Australia before your leaving.
