About:Chinese Consulate in Toronto

Hi,
I live and work in Singapore but am Canadian. I originally got my new company (in Shanghai) to do my letter for the singapore consulate. I now can't get my visa in singapore and am coming home to canada in the summer. I will now apply at Toronto but my letter (alien worker form or authorization letter) still says at the consulate of singapore; will I have problems in oronto because of this?

Q2- I am 'zoned to do my stuff in Toronto but they do not have the mail service. If I use the Golden mile company in Ottawa will that cause a problem? It says in an earlier post you must use your zoned area. This of course causes problems for us 'small town' folk.
Thanks for your advice

I'm afraid an alien worker form or authorized letter saying the consulate of Singapore will be a problem.
