About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

We will be travelling to Shenzhen via Macau (by ferry). Do we need to get a visa for Shenzhen? The purpose of our visit to Shenzhen is to visit relatives. We will travel from KL-Macau (by flight) and Macau-Shenzhen (ferry) and Shenzhen-KL (by flight).

Your early response is very much appreciated.

Thank you.

Best regards
Teffeny

yes, you need to get a visa for Shenzhen, if your stay in Shenzhen is less than 5 days, you can apply for the Specail Economic Zone Visa on arrival at the entry ports of Shenzhen. Otherwise, please obtain a China visa in KL.
