About:China Visa on Arrival

I have been invited to give a presentation in Shanghai for the soybean industry, when i quick looked at my Chinese visa I just looked at the expiration ... didn't realize it was single entry ...
If I understand the visa on arrival information above all I would need is a letter/document from the organization for this conference? Also what would the cost be? ...I leave in 24 hours. Thanks

Do you hold USA passport? USA passport holders are not allowed to apply for visa on arrival.

If you are not USA passport holders, you can do the following things:
The organizor of the conference have to get a Visa Notification Form issued by authorized Chinese government office which approves you to get a visa on arrival, such as provincial office of foreign affairs, the office also need to send the Visa Notification Form to the entry ports you will arrive.
