i have read one place that you can't bring money (yuan ) into China from USA and then I have read that you should try to convert currency before going to Beijing --or arriving---Which is itshould a person convert money prior to arriving in Beijing China --from a company in USA or should you just wait and convert once arriving in BeijingIs it better to use Travelers checks or Cash---what is the cheapest or best method?

You can either exchange money before you go or after you enter China. Just remember that you can only bring CNY6000 in cash with you. My suggestion is that you bring traveler’s cheque. It is safe. And you need to declare to the customs.
