dear sir/ madam, im planing a trip to china and wish to know if a hotel booking is needed to aply for the visa, my partner and i are planing on staying at differant hotels in diferant places as we would like to make the most of our 4 week stay , my partner will be arriving in china few days before myself and will have the first hotel arranged before i arrive. also how long before my trip should i apply for my visathankyou

Generally speaking, for Australian applicants, the hotel reservation is not required for tourist visa application, Please apply for the visa only 1 to 2 months before your planned date to enter China.
