About:Chinese Embassy in Australia

I am a Canadian who is living in Australia at the moment. I will be traveling to Beijing and Shanghai in 9 days. Can I send in a visa application by mail? Or would it be better to go to the Embassy? Is there one in Brisbane?

Ms.Leung, there is a Consulate-General of China in Brisbane, however, you can't send visa application by mail, now the Brisbane Chinese Application Service Center (CVASC in Brisbane)is in trial operation from April 15 to 22. During this period, you can submit your visa application to CVASC or Chinese consulate in Brisbane, after the trial operation, the Consulate will stop accepting ordinary visa applications like before. for more information, please refer to http://brisbane.china-consulate.org/eng/
