About:Beijing Weather

My husband usually wears short shorts all the time we are visiting China on a tour Beijing Yangtze cruise shanghai - can he dress as usual or will he need knee shorts or long pants. Plus how formal are clothes to cultural shows thank you

All of these places will be in hot summer. Beijing will be hot and somewhat dry, but cool at night. Yangtze Cruise and Shanghai is hot but humid since close to water. On the other hand, rainfall may happen at noon but could stop quickly. Please prevent you from the strong sunshine when riding on the cruise.
