I am thinking of going to Hukou Waterfall on the 3rd May. Will it be open and is it a good time to visit?Also, can I ask how long does it takes to go from Taiyuan to Yanan via long-distance bus?Thanks!

Ms.Lam,It is open at that time but it is not a good time to visit Hukou Waterfall at that time. May Day Holiday is from May 1 to May 3. You might meet huge crowd people there. From Taiyuan to Yanan, you may go to Taiyuanqichezongzhan (太原汽车总站) to take long distance bus. The bus leaves at 8:45. The bus station is close to Taiyuan Railway Station. Just walk around 500 meters to the west of the railway station.
