About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

Dear Sir,
I am from Kandy and on April 9th I submitted my application to the Chinese Embassy in Colombo for an F visa to attend a conference in Wuhan from May 2nd to 6th, 2010.
The officer accepted the documents and asked me to make the payment during collection which I am planning to do on April 20th (avoiding holidays). He also said that they do not accept cash and the payment has to be made by a credit card ! As I am very busy with university exams, I was planning to send some one with a letter and the reciept to collect it but now it seems not possible unless I give my credit card and the PIN to that person. Is there a possibility to make the payment through another person (who will be collecting it on my behalf) by cash or by cheque or by a money order or bank pay order rather than a credit card or deboit card ?

Otherwise I will have to spend another full day to come to colombo and pay with my credit card.
In all other embassies, cash is accepted readily.

Awaiting a favourable reply

Mr.Dissanayake, if the visa officer asks you to pay for the visa fee by credit card, you have to do so!
