About:Chinese Embasy in Ireland

Hi,

I am an Irish citizen (born there) who lived in the UK (but doesnt have a UK passport) for 14 years before moving to China with my girlfriend last year.

We want to get married in China very soon, maybe within the next two months. I need some advice on what I/we need to do (i.e which documents do I/we need to complete, to whom, and how long will they take to process?)

Thanks in advance for your help!

Sean

As Noah replied, you should get a Single Status Certificate from the local Notary Office in Ireland, then certified by Irish Foreign Afairs Ministry or its authorized office, then certified by Chinese embassy in Ireland, when you make registration with your Chinese girlfriend within China, your original passport, valid Chinese visa, the single status certificate are required, as for the processing time, I only know that it takes 4 working days for the authentication at the Chinese embassy in Ireland
