About:Chinese Embassy in India

Hi,

I am cuurently in China on a business trip and I will stay in Shanghai for 2-3 months. I like to bring my wife to Shanghai so that she can join me. I am currently staying in a hotel provided by my company. Please advise which visa she can apply and what is the procedure. Can she apply by herself just going to any Chineese conculate in India with all the required documents? Please reply asap. Thanks.

Your wife can apply for tourist visa to China, if she comes from the State of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Orissa or West Bengal, she should go to the Consulate-General of China in Kolkata to apply for tourist visa, if she comes from Maharashtra State, Karnataka State, she should go to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in Mumbai to apply for China tourist visa, if she comes from other states, she should go to the Chinese Visa Application Service Center in new Delhi to apply for China tourist visa
