About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Nn ho,

I am a Singaporean and have a question on entry requirement to China.

My backpacking (LAND and SEA) trip spans several countries including China (Entering from Japan in end May 2010 and leaving to Vietnam in early June 2010)

Am I eligible to enter China without securing travel arrangement out of China? For instance, I will most probably take an overnight bus across the border of China / Vietnam which don't provide me with the necessary travel tickets in advance.

Your advise, please.

Yours sincerely,
Mark

Singaporean passport holders can gain access to China without applying for visas
for up to 15 days for business, sightseeing, visiting relatives and friends, or transit.
If you will stay in China for less than 15 days, it won't be a problem.
