About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

I am currently traveling in Asia and planning to visit China in a couple of weeks. As a tourist in Singapore, can I apply for a China Tourist visa in Singapore? I heard that we need to apply in home country.

Mr.Lena, Non-Singapore citizens shall provide documents that entitle them to reside for an extended period of time in the Singapore, such as a PR, WP, EP, STP, DP. Temporary visitors to Singapore should apply for a Chinese visa in their own country. For the special case, the visa officer has the rights to make the final decision on whether issuing a visa or not.

If you can prove that you can't apply for China visa in USA, it is possible for you to get a China visa in Singapore.
