About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

I'm holding a Philippine passport and I renewed it in a Philippine Consulate in Guangzhou. However, I wasn't able to get it because it wasn't ready when i came back the day they said i can get it due to some circumstances. They extended my old passport for another year. I have gotten my previous Chinese visa in Hong kong late last year, reading this thread saying Filipinos cannot obtain Chinese visa anymore in Hong kong is for real? I'm traveling right now, and going back to Philippine would be a real hassle, apparently countries like Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore do not give visas to Filipinos. Why is that? We don't get any clear answers, they only say "no why and no reason" when being asked.

Ms.Simone, yes, Filipinos are very hard to get a China visa in a third country/region. I'm from Phlippines and hold the Student Pass of Singapore, I want to go to China in May to visit Beijing, Xian, Guilin, I booked hotel reservation and round-trip flight tickets, when I submit the visa application to China embassy in Singapore, the visa officer denied my application and asked me to go back to Philippines to apply for it. I'm a student in Singapore now, it is inconvenient to return to Philippines for China visa application. It annoyed me greatly.
