About:Chinese Embassy in Italy

Dear Sir / Madam,

I have written numerous emails to the embassy in Florence without receiving any reply. I have also tried to telephone the Florence Embassy but the number is constantly occupied.

In May 2010 I plan to visit my son, currently living in Shanghai, for a period of 8 days and I understand that I need a tourist visa (L). I have booked the flight with Alitalia from Milan departing on 28 May returning to Italy on 6 June.

I have downloaded the visa application form from your website, printed and completed it.

As I am a British citizen with a British passport currently living in Bologna, Emilia Romagna, I would like to know if it is possible for me to apply for the visa at the Embassy in Florence as it is more convenient, in terms of time and cost rather than for me to travel to Milan to apply at the embassy there. Can you confirm that it is possible for me to apply at the embassy in Florence ?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours faithfully,

Julie Rosalyn Norbury

Bologna, Emilia Romagna is under the consular jurisdiction of China Consulate in Milan, please go to Milan to apply for China visa. The visa applcation from other consular districts maybe denied or delayed.
