About:China Train

What is your fee for ordering tickets online? I am interested in tickets from Beijing to Shanhaiguan on April 9, D5 soft seats and return to Beijing on April 11. Also, we have three children and two are less than 1 meter tall. Do they need a ticket?

You can buy the tickets yourself at Beijing and the tickets for D trains can be bought 20 days (including your departure date) before your departure date. Children below 1.2 meters need to buy half-price ticket on most trains but they can only enjoy 25% off for tickets of D trains.
