About:Chinese Embassy in Germany

Greetings,

I am an Australian citizen (Australian passport) on holidsys for a long period (one year). I will start in Europe and finish in Asia. Before leaving Australia, I went to apply for a visa to China, but could not because it was more than 6 months before my arrival date in China.

I will arrive in Germany about three months before my planned entry to China, so I would like to apply for a Chinese visa there. However as an Australian tourist, I do not require any special documents to be in Germany.

Also, I have not booked all of my tickets to travel out of China yet, because I don't know whether I will be permitted a 30 day visa or longer (I would like to stay for 70 days/10 weeks).

Is it possible to apply for a Chinese tourist visa in Germany in this case?

It is not a simple answer to this question, sometimes, the visa officer won't issue visa to applicants who are not resident in this country, now you don't have Germany work permit or residence permit, you just a tourist in Germany. You can use the legal entry stampt on your passport to Germany to have a try to apply for China visa, besides, you also need to prepare the completed visa application form, one recent passport photo, your original passport, then submit all these documents to try your luck for China Visa Application.
