About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

Hi there, I am an Malaysian employment pass holder. If I'm going to pay a visit to GuangZhou for few days in the next following weeks; depart from Singapore, am I able to apply the Visa through Singapore China Embassy? Or I have to apply it from Malaysia?

If I can apply it from Singapore china embassy, what documents should I prepare?

Thanks!

You have to apply for Chinese tourist visa from Malaysia because you hold Malaysian employment pass rather than Singapore employment pass. Chinese embassy in Singapore refuses to issue China visa to temporary visitors in Singapore.

If you apply for China visa in Kl, please go to the Chinese visa service center in Kl rather than Chinese embassy in KL which has stopped to issue China visa to ordinary passport holders.

So am I eligible to apply for it via singapore china embassy?

What should I prepare before I going down to the embassy?

Thanks!

Hi Betty,

Thanks for the info. I got all documents ready, but I haven't confirm the date of going, therefore I haven't book my flight and hotel yet. In such a case, can I apply for the visa before I'm getting the air tickets?

Mr.Oh, you can have a try to apply for China visa without the round-trip flight ticket or hotel reservation, sometimes, the visa officer won't ask for them, however, they are required by visa officer. It varies from person to person. Good Luck!
