About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

I am holding a French passport and I am currently visiting China for the past 6 months. I had a 6months tourist visa, multiple entries that expire in April.
I would like to renew my visa, a 6 months tourist visa multiple entries, and I was thinking going to Singapore to do it.
Could you please let me know if there is any chance that I could get it. My concern is that due to the World expo, it is more difficult to obtain such a visa, like during the Olympics in 2008.

If it is possible, which document should I bring? And how long would it take?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Non-Singapore citizens shall provide documents that entitle them to reside for an extended period of time in the Singapore, such as a PR, WP, EP, STP, DP. Temporary visitors to Singapore should apply for a Chinese visa in their own country. For the special case, the visa officer has the rights to make the final decision on whether issuing a visa or not.

i think that it is a little hard for you to get a multiple entry visa in Singapore.

Anyhow, you can call the embassy to enquire it to get an assuring answer.

Thanks for your reply,
Regarding the embassy, I just spent the afternoon over the phone and it is IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone, the only service available when the line is not busy is the answering machine that is not so helpful,
I have tried the following number: 6564180252

Maybe you have another one?

it hardly get through the telephone of Chinese embassy, I have the similar situation as you, the most valid method is to go to the Chinese embassy to enquire it or submit application, the visa officer issue visa according to their subjective judgement, if they feel that you won't overstay in China or do illegal thing, you will get the visa, generally speaking, the visa ragulations are loose fora applicants of developed countries, your are French passport holders, you still have the chance to get the visa, please try your luck!
