About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Hello,

I'm currently visiting China on a 3 months tourist Visa, that will expire in May2010.
I plan to meet friends in Japan as a tourist in the course of March2010, but I don't have any entry left on my Chinese visa to come back to China.
> Will it be possible for me to apply for a Chinese Visa in Japan (like 12 Month, Multiple entries) if I'm there only as a tourist (no alien registration) and if my current chinese Visa has not expired yet ?

Thank you for your feedback.

I have a similar question. I will be in Japan for less than 90 days and thus will have no alien registration or residency. But I want to visit China after Japan. Is it possible for me to get a Chinese visa whilst in Japan as an American tourist with no alien registration? THANK YOU!

Ms. Sachi, yes, you can obtain a Chinese visa in Japan as an American tourist without alien registration, I know that some Americans have gotten Chinese visa in Japan without the alien registration.

I can only say that you can have a try to apply for multiple entry visa in Japan as a tourist in Japan. I guess that the chance is slim. If you have visited China for more than 2 times in the past, the copy of yur previous Chinese visa are helpful for your multiple entry visa application.
