About:Beijing Travel Tips

I am trying to set up a tour with some classmates and we have already hit all of the main attractions or Beijing (Forbidden City, Great Wall, etc.) We want to spend less money this time around and want to see more of the culture of the everyday person in Beijing. Could you help me with some ideas? (hotel/hostel, development, food, shopping, etc)

You may book a home inn located in a Beijing courtyard to experience the local life. How about visiting the nearby markets, supermarkets and cook food by yourself?
