We are traveling around China and will need to keep to rooms below RMB 300 per night. We have 2 wks to travel around Guangzhou, Guilin and surrounding area in late March. There are a couple of hotels which we are interested in and will like to have feedback on the hotel's location, cleanliness etc before booking one of them. Thinking of the location, Mingcheng Hotel is just in Zhengyang Pedestrian Street. However, the first hotel should be somehow cheaper.

Thanks for yr reply. From the hotel room description, there's no mention of air con or heater in the room. Are these 3 hotels equiped with these facilities?

They have air conditioner, do not have heater. No heater in cities of South China, so winter in southern cities are not warmer than ours in North China. If you decide to stay in Mingcheng, not not choose Room 310, 312 or around. It is said that they are close to the hotel kitchen, a bit noisy for the blower fan in the kitchen.
