About:Great Wall in Liaoning

I've lived in China for a year now. Studied Chinese for years and speak nearly fluently. I was wondering if it is possible to travel on any part of the wall? Say, I want to plan a multi-week-long journey from a Great Wall starting point in Beijing and walk the wall all the way to Liaoning. Are there government regulations? Parts of the wall that are missing? Would I be stranded at any point along the trip?

Hi, Mr.Lane. I'm afraid you will be stranded at some points along the trip because the wall is not continually located from Beijing to Liaoning. And yes, part of the wall has been ruined. But maybe you can do some trekking on the other routes, for example, Simatai-Jinshanling trekking is a popular trekking route favored by many hikers. You can have a try.
