About:Hong Kong Travel

My wife and I are flying to Bali and have a 15 hour layover in HK.
We want to overnight at the Regal Airport Hotel on our outward and return trip 2 weeks later..
I have an Italian Passport , my wife has a British passport.

After reading through these posts it would seem like I don't need a visa but she will require Transit Visa.
Is this correct?

Thanks
