About:Simatai Great Wall

Hi, I am thinking to visit Beijing and the Great Wall around Feb. 23-27. Will there be snow in Simatai and Mutianyu? Which place will be more suitable for a hike if possible?
I know the temperture in Beijing will be between -4 C to 6 C at that time. Do you think I can really go the Great Wall for a walk or Hike?

Hi, you should pay attention to the weather report three days before you go to the wall. Mutianyu is repaired while Simatai is wild. My suggestion is if it snows, go to Mutianyu for safety concern, if it is clear, you can go to Simatai for hiking. But you still need to be very careful as Simatai has many broken and loose bricks you should avoid. Good trip!
