About:Chinese Embassy in France

Hello,

I am a Hong Kong citizen and currently live in Paris. I am trying to get my securite sociale numero, which requires my original birth certificate. I have this however it is in English and Chinese and I was told that it must be translated to French.

Does anyone know how I can have this officially translated to French?

thank you

Please go to the local notary public to transit the birth certificate into French.

Hi Mr Leo,

I am currently having the same problem as you and was wondering if you have managed to get your securite sociale numero in the end? If so, do you mind telling me how you did this?

I was told by another friend that you only have to get the birth certificate legalised by the Chinese embassy and send this verification to securite sociale?

Many thanks for your time in advance.
