About:Chinese Consulate in Toronto

I am an Canadian citizenship,I have a plan to travel to china,from toronto to Beijing,use a Canadian passport,but I just want to buy a one-way ticket,stay in Beijing for a while,however,my friend told me I must buy a round ticket instead of only buying a one-way ticket,otherwise I can't be permitted to enter into china,is it right?

Mrs. sophie, the safest way is that you book a return flight ticket to enter China, as I know that some Canadians can enter China with their passport and Chinese visa, the return flight ticket is not requires, however, sometimes, the return flight ticket will be checked by immigration officers.
