About:Chengdu Weather

Hiya,
We were thinking of going to Chengdu in July of this year but have been put off due to the large amount of rainfall that usually falls in this month. In particular we noticed the bad floods last year. It will be an expensive trip where we will be volunteering with the Panda reserve. Is it worth going in July or should we put it off for another time when the weather is better? Or does the weather make no difference for a trip?
Any help is appreciated.

u needn't put it off.coz there will be many people visit chengdu .so it's dosen't matter.and it's not the tropical mosoon.
what if u wanna put it off.Sep will be ur best choice,it's not hot or cold or rainfall.
