About:Beijing Weather

Hi, I am planning to trek about 100kilometers along the Great Wall, north of Beijing, near Mutianyu. From looking at your site is the beginning of September the best time to go?
I am looking for it to be warm or hot with least rainfall possible, so its an enjoyable, easy going trek and camping experience.
Or would it be better in May?
Thank you very much.
Caroline.

Hi, Caroline, I think May is also a good to visit the great wall, it is not very hot or clod. As for rainfall, you’d better check the weather forecast before your trip, and take the raincoat or umbrella during your trip.

September is the best time for hiking on the Great Wall in Beijing. May is also good, but no better than Sep in weather.
